Night Riders
The title is "Night Riders". It was taken on Santa Cruz Pier. I don't consider myself a street photographer. I gravitate more towards nature. In fact the main reason I was there was to photograph sea lions! But when these drivers rolled up everyone stopped and stared. On a Saturday night, these low riders turned on their hydraulics, blasted music, and rode through the night giving everyone spontaneous entertainment and joy. Everyone loved it, especially the drivers themselves. I just happened to be at the right spot at the right time.
Materials:
These images are printed on two different surfaces:
The first option is a Kodak Lustre paper which is a traditional photo paper with a pebbly surface that diffuses sheen and gives the image a soft but crisp look.
The second option is a Metal Surface. This surface is highly recommended. The image is infused in a specially coated aluminum surface. The surface is waterproof and keeps the photo fresh and crisp for years, even when exposed to sun or rain. This print is perfect for a minimalist aesthetic, and for hanging up outside without worrying about fade or damage.
